The opportunity

Our Singapore team is looking for a Communications Executive who will work across our corporate communications and financial/capital markets communications practices. The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team that provides strategic communications advice and support for high-profile clients and projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Supporting the development of client communications strategies, including stakeholder research, message development, engagement strategies and digital communications plans
• Drafting media releases, speeches, scripts, social media content and other stakeholder communications materials
• Developing and maintaining stakeholder lists
• Conducting brand audits, desktop- and issues-based research
• Conducting media monitoring, digital performance tracking and analysis
• Providing logistics and coordination support for client work
• Developing and maintaining our marketing channels, documents and assets

You should possess the following qualities

• Collaborative and adaptable: you should have a can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to learn, and to provide and receive feedback
• Curious and proactive: you should be interested in current affairs, finance, business and the media
• Conscientious: you should be able to deliver high-quality work within specific deadlines
• Calm and dedicated: you should be able to work well under pressure and balance multiple deadlines for clients

Your practical skills and experience should include

• A relevant university degree or polytechnic diploma
• An interest in communications
• Relevant internship experience for graduating students or up to three years of relevant work experience, preferably in communications, finance or media
• Strong writing capabilities across a variety of channels and audiences
• Strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to absorb complex information and to turn it into clear and concise content
• Strong organisation skills, including attention to detail and time management
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and listening skills
